[WAITING ON WEDNESDAY] Winter

Series: the Lunar Chronicles #4
Author: Marissa Meyer
Genre: young adult, fantasy, science fiction, dystopia, retellings, romance, steampunk,
Expected Publication: November 10, 2015

Princess Winter is admired by the Lunar people for her grace and kindness, and despite the scars that mar her face, her beauty is said to be even more breathtaking than that of her stepmother, Queen Levana.
Winter despises her stepmother, and knows Levana won’t approve of her feelings for her childhood friend–the handsome palace guard, Jacin. But Winter isn’t as weak as Levana believes her to be and she’s been undermining her stepmother’s wishes for years. Together with the cyborg mechanic, Cinder, and her allies, Winter might even have the power to launch a revolution and win a war that’s been raging for far too long.
Can Cinder, Scarlet, Cress, and Winter defeat Levana and find their happily ever afters?

Your pick looks good! I haven't started that series yet, but I love stories that have some basis in fairy tales.

I am SO excited for Winter. It just sounds fantastic. I still need to read Fairest (that will be a quick one, so no worries there) so I'll be all set for the conclusion.

The Lunar Chronicles is one of my favorite series! Well technically it's the only series I'll finish soon lol, but girl YASS I can't wait for Winter! I love Melissa's writing, and how she always comes with something different with each release. I mean come on, how exciting is it that Winter will be a woman of color! I am crying tears of joy while pulling my hair out waiting for this book to be in my hands.
