NOVEMBER ROUNDUP (aka the back to UNI month!! but not really!)

current reads!!
Hello,

November was supposed to end well. It was the ending of my vacation, the beginning of a new semester, and a successful personal reading challenge for me but things didn't go that well. Before going back to university, I got really, really sick. I was struck with dengue and was hospitalized for a week - one of the craziest (and scariest) eight days of my life. ugh.

Right now, I'm catching up with my reading, blogging, and school works. My mind's cooperating with me lately so somehow, I think that I'll be able to finalize several of my reviews from a week ago this weekend or throughout the coming week, hahaha.

{ ANIME REVIEWS }

Getting stuck with a life changing sickness is really crazy. It made me feel that my life is like one of those anime I watch or books I read, it didn't feel real. It feels that I'm just finding out how the story goes, how the main character will find the courage, and get through things. It's really amazing to actually see myself get out of something so scary. People around me are so worried, giving blood donations, sending you prayers and encouragements, and keeping tabs of your progress. I am so thankful for everyone that actually help me through all of it.

Dengue, wow, that is heavy. Good to see you are getting back up! I like the creepyish cover from Doll Parts. It reminds me a little of the scene with Pinocchio. You really smashed most of your challenges, congrats :) And you are up to some good reading with ACOTAR and Crown of midnight. Happy reading!

Thanks :) So far from what I've read of Doll Parts, it's surely far from Pinocchio. The stories are so odd. Just two more challenges which I'm really having difficult going through, haha. I'm really hoping to go through Sarah J. Maas' books before the year ends :D

Oh, I hope you're fully well now! I had dengue when I was very young and I can still remember how horrible and scary it was. You did a great job this month regardless. Better than I did, at least ;)

I'm fully well now although I'll still have a followup checkup to my doctor, I'm fine right now :) I can't believe how much I read before I got sick, hahaha. I was really on a roll then.

Oh wow. Dengue Fever is scary, isn't it? I know there's a rash of epidemic in my province back home, so we're all worried. Anyway, I hope you're fully recovered!

Good to know you're back, czai! Dengue really sucks, not mention scary. It's good you're okay now! :)

Denton Little is soooo hilarious! I hope you enjoy it, too! This is Where It Ends is also great, but it's heavy and serious.

Nice haul and TBR list! Enjoy reading, czai! :)

Thanks, I've heard so many stories of people not recovering from dengue and it really scares me.. So glad to be back :)

I saw Denton Little on Kindle Daily Deals; check out what people are saying about it on Goodreads and got excited to buy it, haha. I've read your review on This is Where it Ends. It really just sounds like my type of read :)
